How are you guys doing that?
jwskunk,That photo looks like Potter Hill in 2010.
1. Upload pic to Photobucket or some other online site
2. Copy code from “Direct” box
3. Open img box above
4. paste code into the line that says “enter the URL of the image”
5. Hit OK
6. close prompt box & we have a picture!!!
Next step id to figure out how to get the caption and the photo to both show up. Yes it is Potter’s, about 1/2 way up. before it got steep. Notice someone walking almost on the center line? Ride right means walk right too.
Little Lucy! Love her! She started doing RAGBRAI at age 62 and I think she was 88 last year. 🙂

But….. but….. but……
I was always taught that when walking along a road where there was no sidewalk one should always walk on the LEFT side of the road, facing on-coming traffic…. yet as bicyclists we are considered to be a legitimate road user (in other words, we are not an obstruction to traffic, we are traffic ourselves) and need to follow traffic laws; ergo, keep right. So we have a quandary here — I’m walking so I am a pedestrian (keep left) but I am also using a bicycle (keep right).
I’m of the opinion that this person was so confused by the dilemma that, not knowing what else to do, he split the two and took the middle ground.
