I was asked why are we selling by multiple parties…

Recently we have purchased a used 26 Passenger Bus and 16’ trailer as we do multiple long trips every year. The new bus now requires us to have a CDL to drive :(

This year we have 28 going to Charleston for our spring ride in April. We use the busses for many one way rides, cultural events, movie nights, and designated driver vehicles :)

If interested the bus was our “first” tour vehicle other than our converted school bus purchased from the local Disabled American Center. Its a diesel with approximately 175000 miles with plenty to go according to our great local mechanic.

This bus was a learning experience, after the purchase the AC went out and put a new system in it about four years ago runs great, we have replaced all the tires so rubber is 80%+, wired it for ragabrai including multiple cell phone outlets, stereo system, it has front and rear hitches for racks. Long story short we have put a little over $6000 into the vehicle only to outgrow it due to our spring trips popularity.

The trailer has also been redesigned to carry maximum bikes safely to and from our events. It continues to serve us well and will someday soon be the pride of another club. It’s fun to have your own bus when you pull up to events!
