RAGBRAI lottery communication starts on May 1, 2021
RAGBRAI day pass rider registration closes June 1, 2021
RAGBRAI registration packets start to ship in June 2021
RAGBRAI Expo is July 24, 2021, from 12 pm to 9 pm, in Le Mars, Iowa
RAGBRAI XLVIII is July 25-July 31, 2021

@hnschipper Thank you for the dates. I saw those on the site but was confused as to why it let me register and pay. I assumed that it was extended again. I’ve reached out to info@ragbrai to see what the status is. I see the registration is now actually closed (as in removed from the site) for weeklong riders as of late yesterday.

If someone still needs to register daily wristbands are available through June 1st. In the past you could purchase up to 6. If you want all 7 just create a 2nd ID for the rider and register that one separately. In years past you could purchase them at the RAGBRAI expo also although I saw no mention of that this year. I usually see a few riders who ware all of the daily wristbands the whole week to avoid the hassle of remembering to change them every day.

If they quietly let the registration stay open for a few days after the extended deadline passed then I suppose you got lucky! The RAGBRAI help desk could take a few days to get back to you but they will and you will know the status then. If either you or your teammate need credentials you may still be able to buy them from someone who registered, got picked in the lottery, and now cannot go. Typically that starts to happen a week or two after the lottery results are announced and there are plenty to go around. No one can tell you if this year will be typical in that regard and aren’t we all tired of hearing THAT!
