Will the “official” daily routes be available on Ride W/GPS?

Not sure….but don’t worry about not having…..just follow the crowd 🙂

Thanks for that.

If anyone is interested, I contacted Ride w/GPS directly & they have a dedicated area with RAGBRAI maps.

They are really terrific folks & are extremely helpful. I know have them loaded on my Wahoo Element “just in case”!

Just download the GPX files and upload them to ride with gps. I did that and edited the routes to start and end at our clubs overnight spots. That is where we need the route maps the most, finding our spot in the towns.

One place where you can find them on RWGPS is here. There are others but this one is marked “official” although it claims to have been created by RWGPS rather than RAGBRAI which doesn’t meant that it isn’t official. Yeah, no one needs to have GPS files and many have no use for them. Many of us do however, so humor us as we humor your quirks on this ride of 10,000 individualists with at least 20,000 opinions about everything!

So, this is the link that Ride w/GPS sent to me. They say they set it up using the RAGBRAI files.

My bike computer (Hammerhead Karoo) shows me distance to destination if I have a route loaded.

This year I may try and edit the RideWithGPS files with my Team’s camping spots.

That is exactly what I did. I took the gpx files, put them into RWGPS and updated the start/end points to lead our team directly to our overnight locations. Its nice to have at the ends of the days and also nice to see distance left, elevation profiles. Nice to have the data, not really needed though. The days of digging out a paper card with directions to our spots are over!
