I have to attend a wedding early Saturday in Eau Claire, WI. Plan to ride to Keokuk on Friday. Any suggestions on the best route would be appreciated. Anyone else making similar plans?

Fairfield out via Glasgow Road to Stockport.
Stockport to Bonaparte.
Bonaparte to Farmington.
From Farmington, make your way east to Montrose using any of a number of roads (not familiar with this section so use your imagination).
Then in Montrose you can follow the RAGBRAI route which hugs the Mississippi a few miles to Keokuk.
