But it looks like more of a central route so far

So the total route is Glenwood – Atlantic – Carroll – Boone – Altoona – Grinnell – Coralville – Davenport.  It’s mostly the middle third of the state. It looks good!

Yes.  The
route: Glenwood to Atlantic (64.2 miles); to Carroll (65.4) to Boone
(70.9) to Altoona (56.1) to Grinnell (57.5) to Corralville (75.3) to
Davenport (64.8).

The people doing the texting obviously missed one town (Atlantic); but as far as I can determine the 2011 route is:

Sunday:   Glenwood to Atlantic
Monday:   Atlantic to Carroll
Tuesday:   Carroll to Boone
Wednesday:   Boone to Altoona
Thursday:   Altoona to Grinnell
Friday:   Grinnell to Coralville
Saturday:   Coralville to Davenport

Four hours (more or less) from La Crosse WI to the end town, Davenport.

At this point I may not be able to make the entire ride (no paid vacation time available from my job yet), but I’m going to plan on trying to locate on the side of the road somewhere on Saturday AM and try to meet as many of the people on the board as possible.  Liquid refreshments, such as a Bud for Michrider and a nice merlot for Helen, will be available.  Watch for signs.

I shouldn’t give away all my secrets, but for about a half-hour after posting a person can edit his/her posts.  Look at the bottom of your most recent posting and you’ll see the link; and as I said it goes away after about 30 minutes.

Hey, that’s really interesting.  So if you noticed that you spelled somebody’s name in a really stupid way or something, you have a half hour to redeem yourself before your reputation is totally gone.

My Guess was: Glenwood, Atlantic, Carroll, Urbandale, Grinnell, Cedar Rapids, West Liberty, Bettendorf (4 RIGHT Including the first 3, not a bad guess, but IM SURE someone got 5-7 right)

Correct.  It’s not like texting or a chatroom, where you post in real-time and are unable to go back and correct….like when the text alert spelled “Coralville” with two ‘r’s.

It’s also a cool way to mess with peoples’ minds, like I did with yours….
