Trumpet Chick

I’ll be bringing my pocket trumpet again this year, ON my bike.  Any tune requests? Let me know, I’m ready to rock da Ragbrai!

Can you do the “Throne Room” theme/fanfare from the end of Star Wars IV?

Alicia Rau aka Trumpet Chick said: Hmmm, throw me what ya want as far as genres, I’ll see what I can do! I play a lot of jazz and funk, but for Ragbrai, the usual kickers are tunes like “Theme from Rocky” and “Sweet Caroline” etc.

Alicia,

Jazz and funk work well for me. If you’re looking for an apre ride venue, stop by Team Roadshow’s camp any evening during the week and join the mix.

Best,
~Kevin

Alicia…can you do “Flight of the Bumblebee”?  That tempo might just help some of us get up a nasty hill or two>  Cheers.

‘Howabout the Iowa Fight Song?  Or “76 Trombones” from “The Music Man”? That’s definitely Iowa music!

Hey! Is living and training in Tarpon a requirement to be on the Spongers Cycling Team? Or is being a TSHS alum good enough?

Soak ’em up!

I’m getting some great requests! Thanks, I’m makin’ my list!
P.S. Team Road Show, I am a juggler, and almost joined yer team one year, so I hope to see you on the route.
As far as playing “while” I ride (Micherider), a lil too afraid to lose my balance…or my teeth!

Hey wnl256,
We don’t discriminate by one’s locality, but we don’t often get to ride in Georgia!
Send me an e-mail and we can talk!

I don’t really care what you play, but I would love to see another duet with you and the Iowa Tubador like you did last year. That was great.

Gotta bust out the Spanish Flea. Bugler’s holiday also comes to mind (would obviously be best if you could find a buddy or two to join…)
