We all need a good laugh!

With all of the gloomy and depressing news, statistics, and general BS floating around the Twitterverse, it’s about time we do something to lift up our spirits.

I’d like to hear your favorite biking-related jokes.

Since this isn’t a barroom and I can’t throw out the first drunk, I’ll throw out the first joke (compliments of Granddaughter Woo):

Why do some bikes have kickstands? Because they are too tired to stand up by themselves (rim shot!).

Ouch! Let’s hear your best (or worst) jokes.

See you along the I-O-Way next whenever.

It was good for jumping, though. I always nailed the landing!

BB and LCM,

May I refer you to page 20 (8/26-8/28/20) of this thread? There’s a crate and barrel full of wooden bike-and-tree-related jokes. Yew’ll certainly enjoy seeing them again!

We’ve drilled this topic to bits, so I’ll nail the lid on it, with a promise to hammer home some new “bicycling books” tomorrow.

Just a couple more wooden bike jokes before we hang this one back in the rafters; then I promise I’ll eave it alone.

You can’t true a wooden bike wheel; when it goes out of round it’s warped and must be sanded back to shape.  Of course, then it’s a planed surface, and it will really fly!!

What is the term for the average speed of a wooden bike?     Plank’s Constant!

BB,

One point of clarification: if you need to “true” a wheel, it is not “out-of-round”. It is FALSE!

BTW, who’d a thunk it that this forum would have a reference to Max Planck!! I’m no Einstein, but I’m impressed!

I reserve the right to keep all aspects of cycling jokes open. Never know when I’ll want to dust off the wooden bike and hammer it a while. Think I could get up to warp speed? So, I may just chip-in a wooden bike joke from time to time.

-“BB”-

Good evening,BB!

I just “saw” your recent post and was going to make a “cutting” remark, but I’ll be n”ice” and give you some ad”vise”. “Drill” down on your point and “hammer” it home until you “nail” it down. I had a comment about Phillips and flathead types of implements, but it’s NSFW. I can’t “hack” this joke anymore, so I’ll put a “clamp” on it.
