Looking forward to the Pork Tornadoes. Great cover band that plays a bit of everything, but tends towards modern pop/rock. I don’t think I have anything for the “least” category since I enjoy most genres of music. I will probably spend the least amount of time at Hairball though because my wife detests 80’s hair bands.

Least: Hairball. They are so loud, it’s hard to find anywhere in town where you can’t hear them. I really don’t want to listen to 80’s hair band music while I’m trying to sleep.

Cause the players gonna play, play, play, play, play
And the haters gonna hate, hate, hate, hate, hate
Baby, I’m just gonna shake, shake, shake, shake, shake
I shake it off, I shake it off

Looking forward to 35th & Taylor in Onawa. Also, the Brazillian(?) duo. Guess I’d better review those overnight websites so I know which town has which entertainment. Always fun to hear & see someone new. Disappointed we will miss Maddie Poppe this year, but will hope for another year.

Jayhawks, in Iowa City. This is not a cover band, but original Americana music. I saw them maybe in 1988 and didn’t love them then, but I came to really love their music in the 90’s.

Also really looking forward to 35th and Taylor in Onawa.

I went to visit family in Cedar Falls over Sturgis Falls weekend and watched The Pork Tornados. Really good, so I’m looking forward to them. Hairball seems like a favorite by a lot of people but I think they are a little overdone on the ride, and also unnecessarily really loud. Don’t know much about the other bands.

The Spazmatics in Ames. They put on a good show.

Well, I don’t know any of the bands…probably due to living in Maryland. Looking forward to hearing each of them however; even Hairball. Love music! 80’s too…can sing along and dance!
