First everybody whines that Lance will clog up RAGBRAI, then they whine that he didn’t ride enough. Get over it. Lance lent his support to the event. The fact that you didn’t spot him on the ride is unimportant. His organization and their riders along with Lance are doing a fantastic job of raising awareness about cancer. LiveSTRONG!

Michrider, Lance may have only ridden 1 day but maybe you should ride the Leadville 100 mt bike race he just won, again. But from the pictures it looks like there may not be any curbs to relax on.
jwsknk said: ST, road rash? Yeah, I do something dumb on the bike about every ten years. It was my tenth anniversary of the last accident and happened about 100 feet from where I went down the last time on the Great Western Trail just before the golf course. A little water, some mud, that green slime and my inattention put me down. It got better, the big guy behind me ran over my head and his chain ring took a big chunk out of the back of my helmet. A chunk the size of a plum that could have been the back of my head and neck. The big guy is now known as “Rick the Assassin”. Lucky me.
RIDE RIGHT and wear your helmet unless your name is Clara. (clairvoyant)

Wonder if he will do the last four miles on a flat tire this time or perhaps learn how to fix a flat without a team mechanic in the follow car. While I laughed watching him try to fix the flat, I was in awe at watching him finish those last few miles on a flat tire.

He road Tuesday. Back in Colorado on Wednesday.
Lance rode one day. I, on the other hand. rode all 7 days and finished the ride, LOL!
I talked to him in Altoona but he did not have much to say. He did say he liked my shirt.

RIDE RIGHT

Lance has only won the Leadville 100 once – in 2009. He may win it again this year, but we’ll have to wait until Aug 13 to find out.
