The RAGBRAI family’s thoughts and prayers are with the Iowa State Patrol’s Trooper Mark Domino and Sumner Police Chief Dennis Cain who were allegedly shot while pursuing two suspected bank robbers Tuesday. Trooper Domino is one of the Iowa State Patrol troopers who works RAGBRAI intersections each summer helping cyclists safely cross our great state.
Sumner Police Chief Dennis Cain, remains in critical condition after surgery but is rated stable, authorities said. Trooper Domino was treated and released earlier Tuesday.
Our thoughts and prayers are with Trooper Domino and Chief Cain and their families.
