Gideons distribute scriptures near Garner

For the Clear Lake-based chapter of Gideons International who passed out New Testaments from a tent near Garner, it was an easy day to bring up the scriptures about living water.
The volunteers had distributed 200 pocket-sized books of scripture and 1,000 bottles of water as of later morning as temperatures climbed into the 90s.
“We just decided this was a good way to spread the word,” said Gideons member Henry De Waard.
