Guess the RAGBRAI Route Contest is Now Open

Do you think you can pick the eight overnight towns for RAGBRAI XLVI? Enter the contest and see how close you come. In the past, we actually have people who picked all of the towns correctly. Guess we will have to make it tougher to guess them!
Whoever correctly chooses the most overnight towns in order will receive a certificate worth $100 of RAGBRAI merchandise. The second place winner will receive a certificate worth $80 of merchandise, and a third place winner will receive a certificate worth $60 of merchandise. Certificates must be redeemed by July 28, 2018.
Only three winners will be chosen. If several people correctly guess the same number of overnight towns, the winning entries will be drawn randomly from among all the contestants who have correctly guessed the highest number of overnight towns.

Is it going to be a more middle of the state route for 2018 since 2016 was way south and 2017 was way north?
Hum. Makes sense to me,
Is it going to be other than North so we don’t have all those tree branches and clod hopping horses reaching and hitting us in the face?? Ha! Ha! Ha!
Don’t know if I will win a lottery slot for the ride but I am researching past ride routes and will have my 2018 route in directly. Looking forward to the announcement in January.
