GTR LogoDo you think you can pick the eight overnight towns for RAGBRAI XXXIX? Enter the Guess the Route Contest and see how close you come. Two years ago, someone correctly picked all 8 overnight towns in order! Last year, 6 of 8 towns was the best that anyone could do!

Whoever correctly chooses the most overnight towns in order will receive a certificate worth $100 of RAGBRAI merchandise. The second place winner will receive a certificate worth $80 of merchandise, and a third place winner will receive a certificate worth $60 of merchandise. Certificates must be redeemed by July 30, 2011.

Only three winners will be chosen. If several people correctly guess the same number of overnight towns, the winning entries will be drawn randomly from among all the contestants who have correctly guessed the highest number of overnight towns.

Need some help?  Take a look at RAGBRAIs of the past.

No purchase is necessary to enter, and please only one entry per person.

All entries must be received by January 21, 2011.

Be there as the RAGBRAI XXXIX overnight towns are revealed!  Join us for the RAGBRAI Route Announcement Party benefitting the Iowa Bicycle Coalition on Saturday, January 29, 2011 at the Iowa Event Center’s Hy-Vee Hall in Downtown Des Moines.

Both the contest and contest rule pages are “not found”. Is the contest done already or has the route been posted on WikiLeaks?

  12. Jared

Sorry for the troubles. It should be working now.

  13. Brad Beaudine

I’m going with starting in Council Bluffs, Atlantic, Anita, Adair, Winterset, Des Moines, Indianola, Knoxville, Oskaloosa, Ottumawa, Fairfield, Mt. Pleasant, Muscatine and Davenport.

  14. Dave Wedemeyer

I wish the DSM Register would mix it up a little bit, and do a route from the NW corner to the SE corner of the state, or from the SW corner to the NE corner of the state. I’m tired of riding thru the northern part of Iowa, then the central part of Iowa, and then the southern part of Iowa every third year.
