Nice photo; lighting is perfect! Hope you have a safe and enjoyable weekend too. Keith from Pennsylvania. (2010 Ragbrai 1st Timer)
I took a four day weekend for this fourth of July – I took a vacation day on Friday, July 2 and I had Monday, July 5 (today) off for the holiday. Anyway, on Friday, I got my 100+ mile ride in for the year. I rode from my home in Morrison, IL to ALL FOUR QUAD CITIES – I crossed the Mississippi into IA on the Lyons (Clinton)-Fulton bridge (IA/IL 136), and I rode through Camanche, to Low Moor, to Folletts, to McCausland, to Argo (where RAGBRAI 2008 went through), and I came into Bettendorf on Middle Road and rode on that to the Duck Creek bicycle trail. From there, I rode to the Northpark Mall and Godfather’s Pizza in Davenport, then after that, to Rock Island via the Arsenal bridge. I then followed the Great Mississippi River Trail in Illinois back up to Albany, IL, then back to Morrison via Garden Plain Road and Prairie Center Road.
