Happy Veteran's Day

Today we thank and honor our country’s brave veterans who served honorably in the military – in wartime and peacetime. Veteran’s Day celebrates the courage and sacrifice of all U.S. veterans.
Each summer, all of the branches of our military have several large and small teams of Active Duty, Retired, Reservists and National Guard members who have bravely served our country.
On this Veteran’s Day, we honor all Americans who have served or made the ultimate sacrifice for our country including the service men and women of our RAGBRAI military teams.

I’m a vietnam Navy veteran who dod two tours to the Tonkin Gulf on the USS Bradley DE 1041. Several of my shipmates where from the great state of Iowa. Six years ago I road RAGBRI with a 3X5 POW/MIA flag on my bike. I receive much encoragement from many riders. Thank you for honoring our veterans it is much appreciated.
