Happy Veteran's Day

Today we thank and honor our country’s brave veterans who served honorably in the military – in wartime and peacetime. Veteran’s Day celebrates the courage and sacrifice of all U.S. veterans.
Each summer, all of the branches of our military have several large and small teams of Active Duty, Retired, Reservists and National Guard members who have bravely served our country.
On this Veteran’s Day, we honor all Americans who have served or made the ultimate sacrifice for our country including the service men and women of our RAGBRAI military teams.

In particular, Team Air Force have been great to ride with on RAGBRAI! They have helped us with repairs on the road and are always friendly and courteous. I make of point of chatting with them @ rest stops and pass through towns.
Thanks everyone. He doesn’t like the recognition, but special props to SFC Fairbanks (the one on the right). Besides racing CAT 2, he’s the only Soldier in the Army to have recieved a heart transplant.
