If the heat index in Iowa is anywhere close to what we are experiencing this week, you’ll be glad to see the men from the Iowa Air National Guard along the RAGBRAI route.
A big thanks to Marty and BK our coordinators with the Iowa Air National Guard in Des Moines and “Team H2O” for supporting RAGBRAI with free water along the route. The team will cool off riders with over 3,000 gallons of water per day! Be sure to stop and say hello.
The Air Guard’s water buffalo will appear along the RAGBRAI route according to the following schedule:
Sunday, July 22
Marcus
Monday, July 23
Sac City
Tuesday, July 24
Farnhamville
Wednesday, July 25
Zearing
Thursday, July 26
Shellsburg
Friday, July 27
Viola
Saturday, July 28

Team H2O of the Iowa Air National Guard looks forward to seeing you!

Thank you Iowa ANG! Look forward to seeing you each day out there!
As a former member of the Iowa National Guard I would like to say Hoorah! You guys and gals rock. I’m not sure If you don’t have more fun then the riders!
The ANG water was fantastic, but I would really have appreciated a warning that Goose Lake would be our only pass-through town not to offer free water. I passed up th ANG in Delmar because I didn’t want to stop and knew I ha enough to get to Goose Lake–but if I knew Goose Lake’s water was only for sale, I would have filled up in Delmar!
