Would you like to see the best bicycle facilities and trails in your community? Come to the 8th Annual Iowa Bicycle Summit & Expo on January 27 & 28th, 2012 at the Iowa Events Center’s Veterans Auditorium in Des Moines to learn more.
The Iowa Bicycle Coalition in partnership with the Iowa DOT are bringing national experts in trails and bikeways so you can learn the best practices to implement in your community.
Roger Geller, the Bicycle Coordinator from Portland, Oregon will lead a workshop on the new NACTO Urban Bikeways Design Guide. This new guide is just off the presses and features some of the cutting edge designs used in areas across the United States.
Lindsay Martin and Eric Oberg from the Rails to Trails Conservancy will be speaking about trail maintenance and what is new in trail building. This is a great opportunity to learn from industry experts.
We’ve lower the early registration price. Register for $120 by January 1 to receive a $30 discount. In addition, the Saturday education sessions are free AND we have a larger consumer expo area.
The Iowa Bicycle Summit & Expo has one of the best lineups of speakers as we have ever had. Don’t miss this amazing opportunity to bring more bicycles to your community. Visit http://www.IowaBicycleCoalition.org/summit to learn more.

amount of work? I am brand new to running a blog however I do write
in my diary daily. I’d like to start a blog so I can easily share my personal experience and thoughts online. Please let me know if you have any suggestions or tips for new aspiring blog owners. Thankyou!
