RAGBRAI Registration

If you received your wristbands in the mail, you do not need to check in.  You can take care of any registration concerns or problems (broken wristbands, transfers, etc.) at the Sioux City Convention Center (801 4th Street) in Meeting Room #7 from noon to 9 p.m on Saturday, July 24.  This is in the heart of the RAGBRAI Expo.  See Sioux City Map.

We will have day wristbands and non-rider wristbands for sale. We are sold out of vehicle passes.  You will need a vehicle pass to get your vehicle into the RAGBRAI campgrounds.  We will have day wristbands and non-rider wristbands for sale during the ride at the RAGBRAI merchandise trailer in the main campground, while supplies last.  To speed up the process, you can download, print and complete the registration form and bring it with you to purchase day passes or non-rider passes. https://ragbrai.com/wp-content/uploads/2009/11/Daily-Wristband-Document-2010.pdf

Wristbands

You should have already received your registration packet if you registered online.  You do not need to check inWeek long riders will have a rider wristband, bike band, luggage tag, license plate, and patch certificate.  All of these numbered items must match.  Wear the green rider wristband on your wrist, not on your ankle, during RAGBRAI.  Attach the blue bike band to your headset or stem.  Fill out the license plate and attach to the rear of your saddle.  Fill out the luggage tag and attach it to your bag.  Bring the patch certificate to the RAGBRAI merchandise trailer during the ride to redeem for your 2010 RAGBRAI patch.

Day riders who registered online should have received their wristbands.  They will have a different numbered wristband for each day they selected, a yellow bike band, a blank license plate, and a blank luggage tag.  Wear the wristband for that day on your wrist, not your ankle.  You will need to change the wristband daily to correspond with that day.  Attach the yellow bike band to your headset or stem.  Fill out the license plate and attach to the rear of your saddle.  Fill out the luggage tag and attach it to your bag.

Non-riders will wear their cranberry non-rider wristband during the ride.  It shows that you are a registered participant and not riding a bike.

Is there a list of things to bring available?

  2. Nathan

Under the “about RAGBRAI” tab there is info under general information about what to bring.

Vehicle passes are sold out and appear to be a hot commodity on the forums. Chances are high that we’re not all getting a vehicle pass… What happens then? Can we have our driver stop by the campground to unpack and set up, then find somewhere else to park overnight?

Hey everyone, not sure if you have seen this but check out this list of Party’s from Miller Lite and BikeIowa.com… I went to some Miller Lite parties last year and they were the wildest, most fun I experienced. They have great venue and host locations – looking forward to IT!!!

We have the same problem/ question as Julie. Does anyone have suggestions for a rookie that was ignorant enough to not get a vehicle pass? We have 2 riders, 1 driver, a car, a tent and no vehicle pass.
