Hi everyone – I have a handful of people coming from MN who need rides to LeMars, including myself – Clinton is even okay, we can arrange from there.
Does anyone have room? Does anyone else need a ride?

Thanks for that – My husband is joining me for the last ride, and we weren’t sure if staying in Clinton Saturday night was a thing people did. If it’s not a thing I’d be sad to miss out on, I’m sure I’ll be happy to get home that night! Thanks for the info!

I’m curious if we land in Clinton and a lot of people stay for the day and overnight? Is there a a big party or anything? Or do most people scram back home that afternoon?

My husband is driving from Minneapolis to join me on the last ride from DeWitt to Clinton. He’ll get in late-ish Friday. I’m curious if he can park in Clinton and get a ride to DeWitt to meet me? Because we also have a Facebook group with 100+ members, and even though we know we have this forum and the main RAGBRAI Facebook page as references, that where we ask a lot of questions and exchange ideas. If someone had a few minutes and could answer a few questions, it would be super helpful. I point people in this direction all the time.

Do you think PB is that separated from everything else? I’m excited about PB too – I’m a newbie, and I want everything to be as easy as possible for my first time. Way too convenient to pass up! I’m hoping I move up on the wait list for tent setup… not my favorite thing to do. Out of curiosity, where in NC? We used to live in Winston Salem.

Sure, they were not created for use during workouts (yuck!) but you’re breathing air through a membrane, which means air passes through both ways – it’s not dangerous (even for a 60 minute workout). I honestly think it’s disgusting, and I wouldn’t like the feeling of something hampering my breath, but plenty of people have used them during workout…[Read more]

RE: wearing masks for an extended period of time… my husband wore the same mask without taking it off for 18 hours at a time for days on end while working as an ICU doc this year… never got lightheaded, never fainted, never died from it. Hi Dan – I’m in Minneapolis… not sure how to approach the team thing, but I’m looking for a group to ride (and train) with – have you had luck putting something together? Rochester’s a ways away, but it never hurts to ask!

It’s my first ride, and I’m looking to train with riders in Minneapolis – who’s up for it?
I’m also curious how the whole thing goes if I don’t end up finding a team/group to ride with – do people do this alone? I’d rather not!
Any insights are welcome!
