Note that the 17th was when the ride started later in July…last year they were released on July 9th…..but it’s a little maddening for them to wait so late to publish…hopefully they determine the routes in conjunction with the bike route/overnight towns….and least you’d think they do 😉

I’ll pass…Pot county says it’s about safety…but we all know it’s about the money. Don’t tell me having a beer in a town is safer than at a craft beer tent. Getting money is the Board of Supervisors motivation. Too bad

As far as a bike lock, take it with you. It doesn’t cost anything to bring and takes up little space/weighs little. I lock my bike when stopping for the night when at the overnight town activities. I know people who have had their bike stolen in the overnight towns. An ounce of prevention…….
I heard today that Iowa law enforcement will be doing a sting outside Glenwood on Saturday and outside Muscatine on Saturday.
