Hey Ragbrai-ers …this was a post from 2013 it was an amazing experience one I hope to do again someday but it won’t be in the ’14 ride.
Any first time Canadians that want any advice in two official languages ( English and Hockey) feel free to contact me and have a great ride.
Hey Robo B: My wife and I are coming from Brooklin…we are hitting the road after she gets off shift at the free-health-care-dispensary thursday evening and driving 4 or 5 hours. We will do the rest Friday from possibly Toledo or somewhere like it. We got a hotel friday night a few miles north of finish town. We are using PBVentures Charter services…How many in your party and when are you heading out? Have you RAGBRAI’d before?
JB
Careful clamping stuff onto carbon fibre though … you dont want to overtighten anything…if you aren’t packing too much for real cheap you can get a starp on front zippered bag type carrier then you won’t scratch up a nice new carbon frame.
Paul where’s the American hospitality we are hoping to inve$t in-in July?:)
My KY Wildcat brother in law once told me after hearing that 90% of our population live within 100 miles of the border, “Ya’ll are like the tick on the back of the Dawg”.
Just be nice we have a lot of oil and water up here. It might come in handy in the future!

Imagine how many shower curtain rings we could sell with all these people in one place…
