Uncle Kraig: that is correct. We need to ‘shorten’ the week. Hate to miss Saturday and the first ride day especially but that’s the plan needed due to a family wedding. As far as return, we normally head back after the last days ride. We do not plan to spend the night in Lansing.

Our group has a long drive so we were thinking of a Friday arrival so we could enjoy Saturday. Has anyone heard of any options for tent camping on Friday night in LeMars? Can we count on setting up at the planned sites a day early? Thanks!
In putting together the finishing touches on packing, I realized our vehicle pass was not sent. We have a number. Bought and paid for so we are “legal.” My plan is to create a pass using my number. Will that work?
It’s been my experience that many of the towns you ride through are serving your grill fare….hamburgers, hot dogs etc. You’ll have to go ‘bun free.’ I don’t recall seeing any GF at the many pie stands but I wasn’t asking either.
Yes on showers and cost. There was a service last year using a portable trailer that seemed to be at each overnight town. If the campground is at a school they will sometimes open up the building for a shower. Same if their is a community pool with showers. Lots of riders use.
