Because on most devices you can plan your effort by looking ahead on your GPS. Plan the hills properly for your effort understand the mileage between breaks. 1st year guy here and counting the days to make this part of my month long vacation.
A little nervous because no packets yet and we leave or home in 7 days heading east

How many people are still waiting for there packet to come in the mail .
If you have yours all ready did you get any notice of shipping or a tracking number .
My team had all gotten there rider number on the web site bug no other word .

I am thinking about changing my plans and getting to LeMars on Friday to give myself an extra day of rest before Ragbrai. Is there camping available on Friday night? What are all you Friday arrivers going to do? Maybe stay over in Sioux City, or ???

First time Rider will be attending with a few friends from work. I will be driving my RV to Sioux City the couple weeks prior. If anyone from WA needs me to transport a bike or a few larger items I would be happy to help and get it to LeMars for you. let me know.
