The last time I was in Davenport we parked at St Ambrose college The hill from the river to college is steep and long In 2011 we parked in a parking ramp by the river, that was easy access after the ride
I believe it will be Sioux City to Storm Lake It is a good possibility because Storm Lake was supposed to be an overnight town in 2020 the year it was canceled They declined in 2021, maybe because they knew they were going to be overnight for the 50th?
In 2010 the route btwn Wesley and Britt was 225th st Someone fixed the old grain elevator and re-sided it with red vinyl siding Must be gone, I don’t see it on the google maps
The bicycle route in town blocked access to the road to the bridge. Some people were lucky enough to use a driveway to the bridge road but was later blocked off. We went to LaCrosse thru Minnesota
to cross the river to get home
I saw several E-bikes in 2021 They did not seem to cause any problems If it keeps you off the sofa more power to you The only problem I could see is charging
You may want to consider driving to the end town on Friday. You can camp there and get a ride for you and your bike from a charter to the start town on Saturday. That way when you are done with the ride you can pick up your gear and head for home instead of waiting for a charter bus to fill up and riding for several hours to your car at the start town.
I agree no back pack. I use a handle bar bag for sun screen and other small items. Some people bungee a pair of flip-flops to their bike to wear in the pass thru towns You made a good choice with Brancel This will be my tenth trip with them
Drive to the end town and a charter will take you, your bike and baggage to the start town on Saturday. You camp and load your bike on Friday night. I know Brancel offers this service and I believe other charters do also. That way you are free to head home when you wish and not have to wait for a bus and endure a bus ride after Ragbrai
Several years ago I talked to a State Trooper at one of the manned intersections and he had a click counter. He said he quit counting at seventeen thousand.

If they take Lafayette Ridge Rd from Waucon to Great River Road I think they will miss the nasty hills we rode on in 2017
