Nico, Nico, Nico, where do you live in Florida? let go for a 50-60 mile ride and have a beer or ten. Labels suck, as does politics and you completely made my point. Lets just freakin’ ride. Olive branch has been extended. Thanks JBoz
Your hate speech about Florida politicians is indicative of the world we live in. Thanks for the reason we cant get along. I too, live in Florida having grown up in PA. Done Ragbrai the last 4 years. Worked as the road warrior until I retired 4 years ago. Always looked forward to the USA (Gannett) on either my doorstep or in the lobby…[Read more]
I think the Exped is fine. I am also with PBV, this will be 4 years now. I pack one duffel with a Thermarest Dreamtime pad, sleeping bag, pillow, Helinox zero camp chair, fan ( with extra batteries) and headlamp. 2nd duffel is for all my riding gear. PBV takes care of the day to day tent and bag transfer. Enjoy the ride!

In it I carry an epipen, since I’m allergic to bee stings, 2 tubes, 2 CO2 cartridges, CO2 nozzle, allen wrenches, tire levers, a rain jacket, money clip, cell phone, sunscreen and 1 thing I haven’t been able to kick, a can of smokeless tobacco. That worked last year, I plan on the same this time
Boycott Ragbrai???? As we say in Philly, for who, for what? I am a registered Republican and a conservative and last year was my first ride. While we were in the middle of a presidential election ( and the DNC was in my hometown that week); of all the fantastic people I met that week and had many conversations with , not one of them was…[Read more]
