I admit it is mainly symbolic, but the practical side of things is that it loosens up the legs. In my case, I sit and drive for a day and a half then sit on a bus for 6 hours. My legs are dead by the time I get to the start town. The Saturday dip gives me a chance to open up my legs again. With this year’s start, I think it will be a big help.

Standing out from the crowd is important, like another poster said. Chocolate milk is fine, but there are better alternatives. Yoohoo is a favorite among my cycling friends.
