First time riding with recumbent on Ragbrai and don’t have any hills to train on. What has your experience been on hills with lowest gear? Catrike 30 speed.

Thanks for input. Will be camping in yards and not ragbrai campgrounds so it should work out if thats the way we go.

Not everybody is camping in campgrounds. No fishing on this trip.

I have not seen comment(s) about the use of truck bed tents. Considering buying one and was wondering about experiences of other campers considering wind, rain etc. Most tents are good without the elements.
