Agree with everyone above. RAGBRAI is camp for adults. It is an escape from the daily grind and routine of life. It is about the friendly welcoming people of the Iowa and being outside for an entire week. It gets me in shape and I feel so healthy before and after the event. It is heaven. It feeds my soul.

This year will be my fifth ragbrai, one year I rode alone for a couple days before my sister joined me. It was actually Better than I expected, because you talk with and meet more people riding alone versus with another person or group. You are never alone on ragbrai.
