or ragbrai 2010 In Manchester where 1 month prior the town was under water. I remember walking through town talking to the locals and they would point out the waterlines on buildings. The recoverability and tenacity of iowa towns is always intriguing and I hope the best for them all.
OK, not to be become the evil person this year on the net, but why is this really a big issue. If it was a pest animal would people be as upset. I love my cat but there is a difference between my littly kitty that curls up on my lap and ferel cats causing problems in the community. As far as trap neuter release. a bullet is 50 cents the…[Read more]
I remember that hill and rumbles, I hit those at full speed also it was a non-event. We actually were meeting friends about 1/4 of mile beyond that dogleg and had a great view of the people panicking at the non-event. The accidents happen by swerving to avoid them.
If you wait a while somebody will post their copy of the maps with the turns in it on one of the plentiful mapping apps. You can import those. Or if you are really bored you could do it yourself in garmin connect (create route) based of the maps that were announced a little while ago. Just be warned the maps may change.

Out of Curiosity when did the quote “ON YOUR LEFT” change from Hold your line we are passing on your left to you need to move over to…[Read more]
Pacelines Suck, or more correctly people who have no business being on or knowledge of riding on one suck. A couple of years ago on an windy day my SO and I were riding, her tucked in behind me. a 4 man pace line in kitted out gear and on road bikes passed us (no problem) but at the end was a guy on a hybrid in sweats trying to hang on. He was…[Read more]
