It sounds like 2018 was another fun year! I’m still hopeful to return in 2019. My current knee surgeon (3rd MD, with 4 surgeries) has referred me to another surgeon. My appointment is in September. PBV is my favorite charter! It’s not the cheapest but I’m willing to spend for the extra creature comforts offered!!! There are other good Charters on RAGBRAI and I’ve used several of them. I have nothing bad to say about any of the others! I’ll go with PBV. You should do RAGBRAI your way!!!

PBV is my favorite charter! They are large and need a large space that may not be available within the city limits! They provide the services that they offer! Pete, Tammy and their hardworking crew are great!!!
I did not ride this year but plan to be back next year!!!

In 2010, my fiend drank from and filled a bottle from a garden hose. He ended up sick for the next few days. That was the end of his riding for the week! DO NOT DRINK HOSE WATER!!!!

My training consists of riding as much as I can, eating all the pie I can find and Beer, (lots of beer)!!! I know not everyone uses this type of training regimen! Unfortunately, I won’t be able to make it to Iowa next month!!!

T. Gap, I totally agree! Happy B. Day is the only song I’m allowed to sing at home!!! Even then, my grandchildren cringe when I sing!!! My best singing is saved for RAGBRAI, especially on short stretches of lonely road! I don’t shout “on your left” but instead belt out my favorite medley of Barry Manilow tunes. ST, I’m sorry to be saying this but I’ll be unable to make it to RAGBRAI this year. I need surgery on my right shoulder. Here we go again! Lefty has been a pain and now it’s my right shoulder!!! My current plan is RAGBRAI, 2019!!!
