Odd, that was one of TJ’s reasons for leaving…. not being able to answer all the questions he was receiving. And now here he is not answering questions pertaining to his own ride. When he/they originally announced IR didnt they say they would announce the route in November? I know theres still a couple weeks left but makes me wonder whats…[Read more]
Oh please, like it that hard to ask your boss for a different week. And the fact that IR is planned to go through Northern Iowa tells me its in spite. Everyone except Carson King has shown how imature and petty they are. If the two rides to reconcile then both rides will suffer and its going to get a whole lot worse. Its already turning into a…[Read more]
It relates because of the first letter in ragbrai…R. As in the register where the reporter works. It relates because people are so pissed off that they may decide to not do ragbrai because of this clown reporter and the fact the R in ragbrai decided to go with the story. If the R in Ragbrai is going to drum up this kind of bs and ruin a guys…[Read more]
Lets also realize the difference between complaining and just pointing something out. Someone saying the distances were off or the roads were bad may just be pointing out an observation. 3. Seemed to be more *****y roads this year. Especially…[Read more]
Are you using a PBV tent or your own tent? If its your own tent your certainly allowed to put your bike in it. A plastic grocery bag over your saddle/seat will work if it rains. Or find a place in PBV camp you can put your bike under.
I was wondering the same thing. Carefully cut the button/attachment of the band off making sure you leave the holes in the band intact. If you could then find the same button/attachment somewhere then you could use those on the old bands and attachment them the same way i think. Or if you could find similar bands and remove those attachments to…[Read more]
Im Type I diabetic. I carry my meter and humalgo insulin with me in a little small pouch and put it in my jersey pocket. Ive had no problems eating what i want since im burning it off. The only issue ive had is at night my blood sugar tends to drop. I think this happens because my/your body continues to burn calories and carbs hours after Im…[Read more]
This will be my 3rd Ragbrai. Ive never done the Karras loop and thought I would do it this year. Was wondering do the pass through towns (if there are any) on the Karras loop route still have all the same food, festivities, etc as the other pass through towns on the regular route? Are there still people selling snacks, water, food, etc on the…[Read more]
