I grew up in Des Moines, joined the Air Force when I was 19 and never took the opportunity ride in RAGBRAI. Now, 22 years later, I’m now retired from the Air Force, and I’m riding in my first RAGBRAI with my brother (also his first). I’m currently training in Utah. My brother lives in Des Moines.

I’m from Utah, riding with my brother who lives in Des Moines (also his first time).
As of right now, we have arrangements to be dropped off in Council Bluffs and picked up in Keokuk. However, beyond that, our plans a pretty sketchy. My biggest question is how the camping thing works. Do we need to have a tent that fits in the 50 lb limit, or…[Read more]
