I have used PBV all 5 times that I have done Ragbrai and they have always provided awesome service. I am using them again for year 6. PBV is awesome!!
Trek Madone 5.2…………the only way to go!
I have two pairs of Maui Jim’s and they are fantastic!
I use an Ipod all the time when I bike including Ragbrai, (only one ear bud), just don’t be a idiot and you will be fine. I think the boom box people are a little obnoxious, but hey it’s Ragbrai.
Two Ragbrai’s and only one set of 4D battery’s for my air pump. I like comfort while I am cycling. I listen to my ipod and charge my phone as needed to stay connected. I also like my carbon fiber road bike and drinking several bottled waters and Gatoraide all week, not once did I recycle any of the plastic bottles. Ragbrai is a vacation do what you want and have fun.
PBV and their tent service is the greatest. They even put your bags in the tent everyday. I have been with PBV the last two years and used their tent service. I bought a new walmart air mattress each year and used a battery operated pump. I just need to get a better tent fan and everything will be perfect!
I like Ragbrai because:

these are just a few things
if bananaman did the century loop and finished the entire route then my guess would be around 190,862 revolutions.
I recently just acquired the “click-stand” for my trek madone 5.2, I bought it for Ragbrai this year so my seat isnt upside down and all wet in the morning. It fits nicely in my bag under my seat and is surprisingly light weight and quality built.
I got my Ragbrai Jersey, week long pass for me and my bike today……..
Now I really need to get with the training only 425 miles so far!
It appears that the Husker football team lost to the Wisconsin Badgers 20-21 in 1974. (3 -2 record overall).
It is going to be a lot of fun playing in the Big 10 conference against the greatest teams and the best fans in the nation.
Go Big Red!!
I’m in, now I really need to start training!!!!!!
Looks like I finally have an excuse to purchase a new
Nebraska Cornhusker cycling jersey!!
GO BIG RED!!!
Last year I was a first timer on Ragbrai and with PBV. I am doing Ragbrai again this year and I signed up with PBV including the tent service again.
I am not on a team and PBV made it very comfortable for a week on a bike and camping. Showers, massages, beer, food, tents, chairs, mechanic’s, laundry service, coffee, free air and plenty of friendly smiles.
Short of a luxery RV with close friends I would find it hard to go elsewhere.
