As I am riding in the RAGBRAI rain (cause it likely will happen) I am always joyful that I am not riding through sleet and snow. Cept that one year it rained sideways and hailed. Then I was joyful it was not below zero.

Outstanding year for weather, but the last day was probably the prettiest route I have ridden yet. Just beautiful! Pack light, bring a small battery operated fan for night, and don’t worry too much about extra clothing. If you are thinking about extra clothes bring extra kits (riding gear) with the heat, humidity, and day long sweating in the sun, they will get pretty funky.
