Chris is right. I brought my lock on day one of my first year to protect my investment. I learned it was a complete waste of energy. That is one of the things we love about RAGBRAI. On one hand you just do whatever you want, on the other hand people are very respectful of you and your stuff.

Does anyone else get a craving for a juicy Cattlemen’s sandwich on plain white bread around this time of year? Sometimes they can be just good but others they can be sublime! Sometimes they can just pop up at a farm along the route, those are the best surprises.
As I am riding in the RAGBRAI rain (cause it likely will happen) I am always joyful that I am not riding through sleet and snow. Cept that one year it rained sideways and hailed. Then I was joyful it was not below zero.
