That horse was really wide-eyed and scared witless by the bikes. We rode past it all the way to the right in the right lane and it was in the left lane moving super-erratically. The beef meat pies (samosas) in Postville. Truly excellent. Also the family Tacqueria truck/trailer. The freshly made corn tortillas were excellent. I enjoyed them in Pocahontas.

An earlier poster asked – the delicious punch was called Sama Punch. It was from Palm’s Caribean Cuisine in Des Moines. I rank it up there with pickle juice in importance. Had one every day. I’m enjoying the podcasts but they seem to have stopped after Day 5 and you can’t listen or download them right now. Maybe there is a technical issue?

The reason people might be upset is because generators can be loud and disturb sleep/conversations of other people, which is why many campgrounds have a no generator use after certain hours rule (the times vary by campground).

The good news is it isn’t $400. Parking in General Parking in Lansing is only $65 right now, the price will go up. VIP Parking was $125 and is already sold out. I am hoping that paying for parking does in fact provide some level of security and monitoring.
