I discovered many years ago that the easiest and most enjoyable way to get to and back from RAGBRAI is to go self contained and ride. Of course you’ll need more time to do this and it is probably not practical if you live 1000’s of miles away or in another country but since I’m retired and live in an adjoining state it’s worked quite well for me.
