Informational Meetings:
RAGBRAI Safety Meeting for First Time Riders
- Where: Long Lines Arena (Tyson Event Center, 401 Gordon Dr., 2nd Floor)
- Time: 2:00 p.m. and 6:00 p.m.
- What: Riders can attend to learn the dos and don’ts on the road this year.
RAGBRAI Support Vehicle Driver Safety Meeting
- Where: Long Lines Arena (Tyson Event Center, 401 Gordon Dr., 2nd Floor)
- Time: 4:00 p.m.
- What: Drivers can attend the meeting and learn about the rules of the road. Printed vehicle maps will be available at this meeting only.

Mile of Silence: To remember riders we have lost. Please observe a moment of silence as you ride. The mile starts approximately one-mile past Sioux City. There will be signs marking the mile of silence. Iowa Bicycle Coalition provides the signage for Mile of Silence.
Throwback Jersey Day: Kick off the 50th with your best vintage RAGBRAI jersey or your favorite vintage jersey.

This year’s gravel route will intersect with all pass through and meeting towns. Don’t miss the Gravel Oasis in Mt. Carmel where you can get your exclusive Gravel Patch, party with Bike Rags, Iowa Beer Bus, and BIKE IOWA. Patches will be handed out between 10:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.

HWY 30 Closure
- Hwy 30 will be closed from Carroll to Glidden (7-mile stretch) from 6:00 a.m. to 9:00 a.m.
- All riders must be in to Glidden by 9:00 a.m. to avoid bicycle and vehicle traffic on HWY 30.

Celebrate RAGBRAI’s 50th by wearing your 2023 RAGBRAI jersey featuring the commemorative 50th logo.
Karras Loop sponsored by Wenzel’s Farm:
The optional century loop will take place between Rippey and Luther on Monday. Patch stop signs will be along the route so pay close attention! All registered riders who make it to the patch stop between 10:00 a.m. and 4:00 p.m. will receive an exclusive Karras Loop patch to commemorate their ride. Wenzel’s Farm will be on-site with snacks to help fuel the rest of your ride.

Kinnick Stadium:
The Kinnick Loop will be open from 6:00 a.m. to 8:30 a.m. After that riders will be redirected around the outside of the stadium and in to Iowa City.

Tire Dip:
Congratulations you’ve finished One L of a Ride! Davenport is rolling out the gold carpet with over 900lbs of gold paint! It is a tire dip experience fit for the 50th with surprises and photo ops galore! All weeklong riders will receive a commemorative 50th anniversary plaque once they dip their tires in the might Mississippi!
