RAGBRAI Route: Tuesday, July 25 – Algona to Clear Lake
- 7 March, 2017

Here is Tuesday’s complete RAGBRAI route from Algona to Clear Lake. The day’s ride will cover 51.4 miles and just 934 feet of climb. Although we will visit only four pass-through towns, they are towns that have done a great job of hosting RAGBRAI in the past. The last 6-mile stretch between Ventura and Clear Lake is a scenic ride around the northern shores of Clear Lake. Tuesday is also PeopleForBikes Day.

I’m new to Ragbrai. What does it mean when the town says meeting?
Hi Brandi!
The cyclists ride one route from overnight town to overnight town – the support vehicles drive a totally separate route. However, one of the pass-thru towns is designated as a “meeting town” for support vehicles to meet up with riders during the route, in case a rider wants a ride to the overnight town, or rider / driver want to swap vehicles for the rest of the day, or (insert whatever reason you want HERE!!!)
(Did you have visions of PowerPoint presentations and long winded talks and DONUTS?)
Thank you Jack. There is so much to learn.
