RAGBRAI to Honor "40 Year" Participants Thursday at Celebration in Cedar Rapids

We are excited to be celebrating the 40th RAGBRAI this summer!
On Thursday, July 26 in Cedar Rapids, we will have a brief, but meaningful program with some special guests to celebrate our 40th beginning at 9pm just prior to the Counting Crows performance! The program will be on the main stage in the concert venue along the Cedar River in downtown Cedar Rapids (The venue is located on First Street in front of the Alliant Energy building, Mays Island and on the Second and Third Avenue bridges.) You will not want to miss it!
We will honor the 8 individuals who have joined us each and every summer for 40 straight summers!

(Now rides with Quad Cities Bicycle Club) - Dr. James Hopkins, Windsor Heights
(Rides with their family) - Nancy Jo Hopkins, Windsor Heights

(Family owns Harper’s Cycling & Fitness)
There will be express shuttle buses running from all of the official campgrounds (Ellis Park, Cherry Hill Park and Veterans Memorial Park/Cleveland Park/Kingston Stadium) to and from the downtown concert venue.
Registered RAGBRAI Participants are admitted free with their valid wristband. Guest tickets are still available for $25 and will be $35 the day of the show.

Rode Day One in 1973 from Sioux City to Storm Lake. Then rode on to Newell where I was teaching. Have ridden many Ragbrais up until present, but not all of them. Am with Team Draught now and live in Mt. Pleasant.
