TIRE DIP

If you haven’t already dip that tire before you get started! We’ve seen indoor pools, hot tubs, kiddie pools, lakes, backyard creeks, and even a couple of birdbaths.  We love seeing the creative places you are finding to dip your tires. Share them with us on social and your Ride Spot app using the Ride Story feature.

MILE OF SILENCE

We ride a mile in silence in memory of the riders we’ve lost in bicycle accidents. In 2018 alone we lost 857 of our fellow comrades on two wheels. At the start of your 14th mile, pause and take one photo of what you’re seeing. While you ride, take a moment for those riders we’ve lost. At the start of the 15th mile, pause and take another photo.  Share your 2 photos and what you thought about during that 1 mile stretch in your Ride Spot Ride Story and share it to the RAGBRAI Virtually the Best private Facebook Group or tag RAGBRAI in your post.

GRAVEL LOOP

There is no denying riders who enjoy gravel riding! Map out your favorite gravel loop, it must be at least 22 miles to match this year’s mileage. Get a good picture of your route and pictures along the way, share them to your Ride Spot Ride Story and then share your story to the RAGBRAI Virtually the Best private Facebook page. Anyone who completes the gravel loop will receive a virtual certificate redeemable for a gravel loop patch on the 2021 ride at any RAGBRAI merchandise trailer. *Must be a registered virtual rider to be eligible for the patch.

Registered virtual riders get exclusive access to the RAGBRAI “Virtually the Best” private Facebook page.
