RAGBRAI XLV Lottery Is Here!

You can’t win if you don’t enter.  That’s how the saying goes anyway.  If you submitted your registration by the deadline, including your waiver and payment, then you are included in the lottery.  Remember, if you are part of a group, your group must be closed, with all payments and minor waivers received in order to be included in the lottery.

There are a couple of ways to know whether you made the cut.

1. You received an email with your wristband number. NOTE: this message could have been trapped in your spam filter.
2. Check your account online. Log into your ragbrai.com user account. Go to My RAGBRAI/My Profile/Registration Status.  Your wristband number will display on this page.

If you did not receive a lottery email, or your wristband number does not display in your profile, you still have a chance.  Registration for day passes will be available online until June 1, 2017.  You can also check the RAGBRAI Forum for anyone who may be selling wristbands.

Group Contacts can print a list of group members with corresponding wristband numbers.  Go to My RAGBRAI/MY Group and select the Group Summary option.

Wristband Packets will be sent in June

The wristband and jersey packets will ship via UPS starting in mid-June. The packets will be mailed to the address listed on your profile.  If you have any address changes, email us at info@ragbrai.org before May 15 so that we can send your packet to the correct address.

If you are in a group, your wristband and jersey packet will be sent to the group contact.

Transfers

If you purchase wristbands from another person, the transfer of money and wristbands is between the two parties involved.  RAGBRAI is not responsible.  The wristband packet will be sent to the original party in June.  The new owner will need to complete a transfer application and waiver to complete the transfer process.  The transfer application and waiver will be on our Web site after June 1.

Refunds

You can request a refund by emailing us at info@ragbrai.org.  There is a $25 per person processing fee for refunds, and the deadline for requesting a refund is May 15.  Registrations are non-refundable after May 15.

Housing

This is a reminder that RAGBRAI is a camping event and camping is free in our campgrounds for registered riders.  If you wish to apply for housing, contact the housing committees in the overnight towns to request housing in their town.  They will ask for a $3 processing fee for applications.  Housing is not guaranteed.  It is not on a first-come first-served basis and the towns will try to match as many riders with host families as they can.  You will need your wristband number when submitting your housing request.
