Day 7 – DUBUQUE
The final day of RAGBRAI LIII is from Dyersville to Dubuque, 34.1 miles and 1,699 feet of climb, dipping our tires as tradition, in the Mississippi River.
“Dubuque is thrilled to serve as the final destination for RAGBRAI this year. Whether you’re a rider, ride supporter, or volunteer, we look forward to hosting you as you complete your ride. We hope you take time to experience our city’s rich history, award-winning restaurants, charming shops, interesting architecture, and natural beauty. As Iowa’s oldest community, Dubuque is considered the birthplace of Iowa so we believe that no tour of Iowa is complete without a visit to the “Masterpiece on the Mississippi.” Since RAGBRAI last visited Dubuque in 2010, we have continued to invest in our beautiful riverfront and historic downtown and have added and improved many community amenities and attractions. No visit to Dubuque is complete without a visit to the National Mississippi River Museum and Aquarium in the Port of Dubuque, Eagle Point Park, Chaplain Schmitt Island, and the Fenelon Place Elevator. We look forward to welcoming you on July 25 and invite you to spend an extra day in our five-time All-America City. You will have earned it! “

Support drivers have two route options to reach the next town:
- Direct Route (No Meeting Town): This route avoids the meeting town and the bike route, offering the fastest way to the next overnight town.
- Meeting Town Route: This route takes you into the meeting town’s staging area, where you can safely connect with your team, friends, or family.
