The official RAGBRAI Sweeper was unveiled by Trans Iowa Equipment, part of the MacQueen Equipment Group, to clean up after RAGBRAI comes through. I advocate it clean before the ride goes through – so as to pick up any nails some of RAGBRAI’s “friends” seem to place on the route….
I second the motion to run it in front of us for a pre-ride cleaning. And not just for nails (of which I hope there are few), but grass clippings, gravel, sand, ,oil and other unintentional, but still problematic, road debris.
