The Great Iowa Fall Ride
It’s the end-of-season ride through the heart of Des Moines via its trails and parks. The breezy 37-mile ride loops from Cumming to Easter Lake and back. Join the fun with stops at The Chicken, Outskirts Bar, Jethro’s BBQ Southside, Confluence, and Mullets. Finish the evening with an epic concert with Broadway’s Rock of Ages at Middlebrook Farms and street festival in downtown Cumming with Cumming Tap and Iowa Distilling Company. You won’t want to miss this!

Friday, October 7th:
3:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. Packet Pick Up at RAGBRAI Headquarters – 501 Scott Ave, Des Moines, IA 50309
Saturday, October 8th:
8:00 a.m. to 10:00 a.m. – Breakfast and Packet Pick Up
8:00 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. The Great Iowa Fall Ride
5:30 p.m. – Concert at Middlebrook Farm and downtown Cumming
REGISTRATION INCLUDES:
$85 per rider ($95 on the day of the ride)
- Breakfast at Middlebrook Farm
- Lunch along the route (location TBA)
- Drink specials at 6 establishments along route
- Access to epic concert at Middlebrook Farm

THE RIDE
Start your breezy 37-mile fall ride at the Cumming trailhead on the Great Western Trail then wind your way around to Water Works Park, Gray’s Lake before you make your loop around Easter Lake and head back.
Capture the scenic fall views along the ride and participate in our photo scavenger hunt! Be sure to tag RAGBRAI and use the hashtag #TGIFR to be entered into our contest. The path will be marked along the route with great spots to stop and snap your photo.

THE PARTY ZONE
End your ride in Cumming at the Party Zone that will span from Middlebrook Farm across G14 onto N. 44th. Food trucks, drinks, and music PLUS the Iowa Hawkeyes game on the big screen at Middlebrook for the fundraiser benefitting Restoring Hope.
Not registered? You can still attend the concert. Gate is $25 at the entrance.


Broadway’s Rock of Ages Band
From the ground breaking Broadway and major motion picture production of Rock of Ages! Join the a-list band as they perform monster hits that defined the 80s in Middlebrook Farm starting at 5:30 p.m.
Must be registered to attend the concert. Tickets at the door for the concert is $25.
In one word …. this concert is AWESOME!

Restoring Hope
In conjunction with the Great Iowa Fall Ride, non-profit organization Restoring Hope will host their annual fundraiser at Middlebrook Farm and start one hour before the Iowa vs. Illinois (Time TBD). There will be food trucks, silent auction, drinks, and the game on the big screen. Stop by and donate to a good cause while you enjoy the festivities.
