Each month we will publish ten tips to help you prepare for RAGBRAI LIV. This is a big month, with our Logo and Jersey Reveal, Ride Registration launch, and Route Announcement Registration launch. And there just might be a few sales in our shop as we launch into the holiday season. Complete our Top 10 Tips in November and ensure you’re on route to ride RAGBRAI LIV.
Here are our Top 10 Tips to prepare for RAGBRAI LIII in November:
1. Check out our Logo and Jersey Launch!
The countdown to RAGBRAI LIV begins now – and we’re kicking things off in style! Join us at RAGBRAI HQ on Friday, November 6th for an evening of celebration as we unveil the official RAGBRAI LIV logo and the 2027 jersey.
When: Friday, November 6th from 5:30-8pm Central

2. Attend our November Town Hall
Don’t miss our November Town Hall! This month: the logo for RAGBRAI LIV will release on Friday, November 6th! Please join us as we take a deep dive into the creation of the logo and the story behind it. We’ll also provide important updates on Registration and a few of our upcoming Holiday merchandise items.
The Town Hall will be Tuesday, November 10 at 6:30 pm Central. This is a virtual Town Hall.
Registration is free. It’s not required to attend, but it is required if you want to ask questions.
3. Connect with your Team Members and Team Captain.
Time to get the gang back together! If you need a new Team Captain, select one. If you need a team, convince some friends to ride! There is still plenty of time to train. Other ideas for finding a team include asking around at your local bike shop or group rides, or visiting our Charter Page (for paid options).
Pro tip: We have switched registration platforms for 2027. Keep an eye out for instructions on how to use our new system, Let’s Do This!
4. Register for RAGBRAI on November 15th!
On November 15th, we will launch a tab on RAGBRAI.com called Registration. You will find everything you need to know about signing up for RAGBRAI there.
If you have friends or family who might have issues registering, check in on them and make sure they were able to sign up. Registering in 2026 will get you our Early Bird pricing.
5. Register for the 2027 RAGBRAI Route Announcement Party!
Route Announcement Registration also opens on November 15th! This is the party where it all begins – we announce the eight overnight towns that will host us for RAGBRAI LIV. Just like Ride Registration, we will add a tab to RAGBRAI.com on November 15th and you will find all you need to know about joining us for the party!
This year we are taking the party to the Val Air Ballroom in Des Moines! If you’ve never been, this venue has an atmosphere that can’t be beat. The move will also provide a location closer to the Iowa Bike Expo, better ticket pricing, free parking, and an optional pre-party dinner at Tom Archer’s!

6. Newbie? Start learning about the ride.
Grab a snack and your beverage of choice, visit RAGBRAI.com and read through our FAQs. This is especially important if you’re a newbie.
