Tornado of bikes in Parkersburg
- 29 July, 2010

The American flags that lined Parkersburg’s Main Street hung limp this morning, but a reminder of a much windier day stood in the middle of the main intersection: a 15-foot tornado-shaped sculpture made from bikes.
Local welder Scott Thorne assembled it with some of the bikes that were retrieved from the rubble an F5 tornado left behind when it tore through town two years ago.
