It is such a great feeling to finish and still a little overwhelming I get goosebumps and tear up when you roll into the last town and you can see the river
During the week my focus is always on that day’s ride and experiencing what the ride offers. Each day is a 50-60 mile chunk, and lots of people can do a 60 mile ride. On Saturday I allow myself to look at the map of Iowa and that when it sinks in that we rode across the entire state! No matter how many times I ride it, finishing RAGBRAI always leaves me with a profound sense of satisfaction at what my team and I accomplished!
