Pork Tornadoes - Virtually the Best Concert!

It’s official! The band, the myth, the legend, the Pork Tornadoes will play Virtual RAGBRAI on Friday, 7/24 at 7PM.

All registered Virtual RAGBRAI Riders can attend Virtually the Best Concert, sponsored by Big Grove Brewery and Tailwind, the Official Beer of RAGBRAI.

There are two ways to join in the fun – stream the concert virtually on our Secret Facebook Group, or drive-in to the concert in Des Moines’ Water Works Park!

You’ll be asked to show your email confirmation of your RSVP. We’ll save a parking spot for you, and a small area where you can safely set up chairs and a blanket. There will also be a way to listen in from your car if you prefer to stay in the air conditioning! Gates open at 5:45 PM for registered virtual riders and the show starts at 7 PM.  Be sure to read the participant guidelines carefully ahead of time.

Be sure to stock up on Tailwind before the show – the Fleur Ave. and Downtown Hy-Vee in Des Moines are making it easy for you to grab-n-go. Plus, virtual RAGBRAI concert ticket holders receive 10% off hot food item or meal pack at participating Hy-Vees on 7/24 only. Just show your ticket at check-out to get the discount and make it a picnic!
